Lauren Young is a Partner of PCCP and serves as the Firm’s Chief Risk Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. She is a member of PCCP’s Executive Committee. Ms. Young joined PCCP in 2003, and her past responsibilities have included head of asset management, fund manager for PCCP’s commingled equity funds and joint ventures, as well as equity and debt originations, structuring, negotiation, due diligence, closings, and asset management with a focus on northern California and Colorado. Prior to PCCP, Ms. Young held management consulting, strategic planning, and market intelligence roles at Mercer Management Consulting and Philips Electronics Hong Kong. Ms. Young received her B.A. in Economics from Harvard University and holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
Jay is the Founder and Managing Principal of Paceline Investors, a value-added and opportunistic investor/developer of commercial properties in the Bay Area. Previously, he had co-founded Cannae Partners, a value-added investor in the Bay Area, and invested in and developed shopping centers in mainland China in conjunction with MSREF. Jay is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and the University of Pennsylvania.
Dave Karol is a Principal of Ridge Capital Investors and leads the firm’s commercial acquisitions. Prior to joining Ridge, he served as a Director of Investment Sales at HFF in San Francisco. He has been involved in the disposition and acquisition of over $4 billion of office, industrial, and mixed-use properties throughout Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. During his tenure at HFF he was recognized by Costar as one of the top 10 sales brokers in San Francisco for both 2012 and 2013.
Dick Morisky is currently of counsel with Dorband and Schneider, LLP with over 30 years of experience in federal tax and corporate consulting for closely held and public companies in the real estate and private equity industries. Before joining Dorband and Schneider, Dick was a tax partner with Andersen Tax LLC, where his practice focused on the real estate, and private equity industries, both domestic and international. Dick has presented on corporate and real estate tax matters at various corporate seminars and trade association conferences.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Jordan Angel is a Senior Director in the San Francisco office of HFF with more than 15 years of commercial real estate experience. He focuses on debt and equity placement transactions throughout the western United States. He has secured billions of dollars in debt and equity for office, multi-housing, retail, industrial, mixed-use, and other commercial
property types. Jordan holds a degree in Management Science from UCSD. He currently serves as co-chair of programs for NAIOP-SFBA and was a past president of both the Bay Area Mortgage Association and The Belden Club. As an active member and former leader of The Guardsmen he contributes to supporting the needs of at risk youth in the Bay Area.
Margo Bradish is a Land Use Partner in the San Francisco office of Cox, Castle & Nicholson, where she counsels clients on all aspects of the land development and entitlements process. With over 20 years of experience, she has assisted clients in securing permits and approvals for transit-oriented and urban infill developments, office and industrial buildings, residential and mixed-use projects, shopping centers, senior housing, and other reuse projects.
Cori English brings nearly 20 years of experience in commercial real estate marketing and leasing to her role as director at RETS’ San Francisco office. Cori began her real estate career in 1997 in Phoenix, Arizona where she focused on leasing, marketing and sales of institutional product types, including office and industrial properties. In 2000 she found her niche working with owners of institutional quality assets in Southern California at CBRE. In 2007, Cori accepted the director of leasing position for one of the largest landlords in Southern California, Maguire Properties. Collectively, Cori spent 13 years of her career with CBRE, most recently in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area, where she was a First Vice President of brokerage overseeing the leasing of institutional office assets in both the urban and suburban markets surrounding San Francisco.
Drew is the regional SVP for Duke Realty Trust (NYSE: DRE). He is focused on industrial operations, development and acquisitions in the San Francisco Bay Area, Central Valley and Seattle. He has successfully deployed $3.7 billion along a broad range of structures and strategies and across the primary real estate product types. Previously, he invested in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Colorado, Portland, and Seattle on behalf of American Realty Advisors, Prudential’s various third-party real estate capital funds and Prologis predecessor, AMB Property. He is a CPA and LEED AP.
Rob is a Managing Director in JLL’s Capital Markets group with primary responsibility as the transaction lead for investment sale assignments in Northern California. In addition, Rob is the Western U.S. lead for JLL’s International Capital Group and is a member of JLL’s Global Capital Markets Advisory group, JLL’s Pan-American Capital Markets team and the US Capital Markets Leadership Council. Over the course of his career, Rob has completed over $10 billion of commercial real estate transactions.
Adam Lasoff is a Managing Director with Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets group where he specializes in the sale of institutional office, industrial and mixed-use properties. As one of four partners on an 12-person team, Adam is responsible for managing, underwriting, and marketing investment properties for sale throughout Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. His clients include pension fund advisors, REITs, and a range of domestic and foreign private investors. Over the course of his career, he has completed over $3 billion of commercial real estate transactions for clients.
Pedro Marques is a Senior Director with DivcoWest, where he is responsible for direct and joint venture acquisition opportunities with a focus on Northern California, Pacific Northwest and Denver. Prior to joining DivcoWest, Pedro was a Director at Broadreach Capital Partners and served on the Board of Directors for Corporación Inmobiliaria Vesta, a publicly traded Mexican industrial real estate developer. Pedro received his Master of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Virginia, and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance from Georgetown University.
Alex Mast is a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co and currently serves as the Market Manager for the Northern California region within the Commercial Real Estate Banking group. In his role, he provides financial solutions for developers, investors, and private equity funds. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Alex spent over 15 years at 2 of the largest commercial banks in a similar capacity. Alex is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and is a Bay Area native.
Mark Penrod is a Managing Director with Eastdil Secured, where he is responsible for the Company’s single-tenant business and investment sales in the Bay Area. Prior to joining Eastdil Secured in 2003, Mr. Penrod was a Portfolio Manager at SDR Capital in San Francisco.
Rebecca Perlmutter, First Vice President at CBRE, specializes in industrial capital markets across the west coast and has completed over $20 billion worth of transactions over the last 10 years which include investment sales, land sales, and equity recapitalizations. Prior to joining CBRE Rebecca worked for Wells Fargo Securities in their Investment Banking Group and at KB Urban in acquisitions. Rebecca received her MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, an economics degree at UC San Diego and a CFA designation. She moved to the Bay Area three years ago to be closer to her family and expand her team’s presence in Northern California.
Scott Pertel is a Managing Director in the San Francisco office of HFF with more than 10 years of real estate investment experience. He is primarily responsible for the origination and execution of office and industrial transactions with a focus on single tenant net lease sales and sale-leasebacks throughout the United States and Canada.
Dan Poritzky serves as a Partner for Local Capital, a privately held real estate development and investment company headquartered in San Francisco. Mr. Poritzky oversees the commercial and industrial platform. Prior to Local Capital, Mr. Poritzky spent the past 17 years at Prologis, Eastdil, and MWest Properties where he worked on over $9 billion of real estate in the following capacities: acquisitions, asset management, financings and leasing. Most recently, he completed a 9 month assignment at LeEco, where his primary role was entitlement and pre-development of a 50 acre site in Santa Clara, CA. Mr. Poritzky received his B.S. in Accounting from the College of Business and Economics at Lehigh University.
Brandon Wang is the Executive Vice President at Lincoln Property, overseeing the Northern California region for the company’s LPC West unit which spans the Bay Area, Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego. Brandon leads all aspects of Lincoln’s activities in Northern California, including acquisitions, development, asset and property management, and repositioning of existing commercial, retail and mixed-use properties. Prior to joining LPC, Brandon was with Kilroy Realty, and served as the company’s SVP of Investments and Development for the Bay Area. Prior to Kilroy, Brandon held positions as Lowe Enterprises, Morgan Stanley, and Cushman and Wakefield. Brandon received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, and his M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
Phillip Wang is a partner in the San Francisco office of Rimon P.C., where he practices law in the areas of real estate, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation. His real estate practice includes representation of commercial developers, owners, landlords, tenants, lenders and borrowers in all aspects of disputes and litigation concerning commercial properties. Phil is a graduate of Princeton University and a Bay Area native.
Colby Wick joined Shorenstein in 2011 and is a Vice President with the Capital Transactions Group. He is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and closing capital transactions in the Western United States.
Prior to joining Shorenstein, Mr. Wick was a Senior Associate at Ernst & Young advising real estate and technology clients. Previously, he was an Analyst at Base Capital, a boutique private equity real estate investment company based in Bellevue, WA.
Mr. Wick graduated from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington with a B.A. and M.S.A. He is a board member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties San Francisco Bay Area chapter. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute.
Alison serves as Executive Director of NAIOP San Francisco. A San Francisco Bay Area native, Alison holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Santa Clara University and is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) through the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). She has worked in association management since 2010.
